Essentialist Explained

All your questions answered
How to choose The Essentialist for dark circles?

When it comes to dark circles, one of the best ways to do that is with color correction, so when you pick your shade of Essentialist choose one with warm, pink undertones. This helps to cancel out the gray and blues that are common under eyes.

How to apply The Essentialist?

The best way to conceal the under eye is by dotting three dots of The Essentialist: in the inner corner, middle of under eye, outer corner. Using the Mini Air Focus Brush gently pat the product ontoskin. You may also use your ring finger to pat concealer gently onto your delicate eye area. The more product you put on, the more creasing you may experience.

How much is too much?

The Essentialist is much like our beloved Minimalist: concentrated and creamy, so always start with less than you think you may need. Click your Essentialist stick 2-3 times and wait for the product to disperse onto the sponge. Information about the first step in what you're trying to describe.

Where does The Essentialist belong in your makeup routine?

Add a little concealer just on the under-eye area itself and then add the foundation lightly to blend. This helps build the coverage versus their being a stark difference between what's covered and what's not.

What’s the best way to apply The Essentialist?

Apply on bare skin or over makeup with just one click and blend with fingertips, brush, or sponge.

To brighten, use a shade lighter thanyour skin tone down the bridge of the nose, the brow bones, above the brow, and on the tops of the cheeks.

To prime/prep, apply a tiny amount before applying your Minimalist to the smile lines, on the forehead, and on the crow’s feet. Pro tip: use a shade close to your skin tone.

To contour: use two shades darker than your skin tone and apply to areas of face that you’d like to appear more hollow (under cheekbone, along jaw, in the crease of your eye, bottom of your nose).
