Svetlana Henao-Zakharevich is the founder and formulator of Gressa, an independent American cosmetic house established in 2009.

Her expertise brings together a background in biology, seventeen years of hands-on formulation, and graduate study toward a Master of Science in Cosmetic Science. Her work centers on botanical materials, skin biology, and the chemistry of skincare and color.

This practice gave rise to The Minimalist, a silicone-free serum foundation that disperses mineral pigments through botanical oils. Its formulation brings skin feel, pigment performance, and finish into a single composition.

Svetlana leads formulation and product development in Colorado, where Gressa’s formulas are developed and made in-house. She remains directly involved from the first bench sample through production.
